​With this website we would like to make travelling easier for us by providing free accommodation. The current host school offers a place to stay for their guests. This can be a room in the school building or a house of a host family.

Waldorf Hosting allows students, teachers and parents to travel on a lower cost, find a safe place to stay and to create new friendships. We can change ideas about educational methods, arts, programs and learn a lot of things from each other, which is a great opportunity to improve your own Waldorf school.

Many parents don't want their children to travel alone because of the uncertainty of accommodation and the people they might meet. However through Waldorf Hosting they can know them in safe hands, as if they only went to stay with their own relatives. Not to mention that the city will be shown by a local so they can find the best places worth visiting.

The very first Waldorf school was founded in Germany in 1919. By now Waldorf education has grown global. Today there are over 1,100 schools and almost 2,000 kindergartens in more than 70 countries around the globe.

We think it would be a mistake not to make use of the situation that we, Waldorf communities are in. We belong to a same group of people, like a little tribe spread out  all over the world. Still, could be more personal connections among members of different Waldorf communities.
